Barn Find Harley. Look at all pictures Bike looks like a completely original 1975 FLH and was last inspected in 1976 odometer works and shows 5000 miles True mileage is unknown. Bike is titled with a clear PA title as a 1973 harley FX 1200 both frame and engine numbers match.......this is exactly how it was found in a local barn and purchased three years ago with 4600 miles showing. Bike starts runs and goes down the road like a un-restored bike this old should. It has been ridden to a few old bike run events in the past three years I have owned it. Everyone loves the patina and look of the bike. And you will love the sound of an old shovelhead running The only thing that does not work on this bike is the turn signals and the front brake. It technically works but sticks a little I just do not use it when riding.This bike is old and greasy and leaks a little oil It's far from perfect but very cool.I am selling this bike as is and for what you see in the pictures. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all. Tue, 19 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $190.6 million over the second quarter of 2011, thanks to the first year-on-year quarterly improvement in the U.S. market in nearly five years. For the three months ended June 26, 2011, Harley-Davidson’s operating income totaled $301.9 million, a 38.0% increase from the $218.8 million reported in the same period of 2010.
Backflips on a Harley? [video]
Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
