1974 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide STANDARD POLICE, For sale 1974 Harley shovelhead police bike. Bike was originally a McKeesport police bike , has harley police logo in tank and calipers, red and blue lights up front , mechanical siren with jockey pedal ( all functioning) CB box 2 seats, one is a 2 up and one is the original that needs the pedestal mount , 2 sets if saddle bags. Bike was restored in the mid nineties and in Iron Horse magazine ( have issue). Matching number frame and motor , very good condition , runs drives starts right up . Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.

The Street 750 and Street 500 from Harley-Davidson represent the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years. Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2013 Sales Results

Harley-Davidson reported a 15.5% increase in motorcycle sales for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2013 compared to the same quarter last year. The news caps off an important quarter for Harley-Davidson that included the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations and the launch of its 2014 lineup including the new Twin-Cooled engines and Project Rushmore enhancements.
