1984 Harley-Davidson FXRDG. This is a very rare bike. There was only 1 made for each dealer in 1984. Approx. 700 to 800. Exact number is hard to verify. This is a 1984 and 1/2. First EVO, last chain drive, first laser painted tank, first stock solid aluminum rear wheel, first rubber mounted engine, first attempt at a Dyna Glide. I have heard it called a Disc Glide also and haven't been able to verify. I am the original owner and bought this bike in Texas in 1984. I have all the original paperwork. I have found the value of this bike to increase each year. Hard to put an exact value on it but if you are a collector I think it would be a great addition. My wife and I ride very little anymore and fixing to hit the road in an RV. Would be willing to look at reasonable offers. In 2009 I had the frame powder coated and cleaned and polished each part of bike. I have the original signal lights, foot pegs and other items. The bike is 95% original. Thu, 25 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson reported 15.9% increase in motorcycle revenue despite selling 9.1% fewer motorcycles over the first quarter of 2013. According to the company’s first quarter 2013 report, Harley-Davidson recorded revenues of $1.15 billion from motorcycle sales, compared to $995.9 million in the same quarter of 2012. At the same time, Harley-Davidson sold 54,254 motorcycles worldwide over the first quarter, down from 59,677 motorcycles in the same period last year.
