Very nice condition for age and mileage.  Small dent in right gas tank, front fender.  I have quieted it down a bit with Vance and Hines muffler and quiet baffle you see.  I have the original chrome megaphone with quiet baffle installed.  Has Road King headlamp bezel, LED turn signals and tail light.  Had new rings, oil pump and cam installed at 42,000 miles.  Price is NOT negotiable.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
