2001 Harley Davidson Softail Deuce FXSTD. Silver in color, tons of chrome, brand new Roland Sands Designs air cleaner, Vance&Hines big radius exhaust, brand new back tire, has the Screaming Eagle wheels, runs and rides well. If it is chrome and can be put on a deuce this 1 has it. All steel braided brake lines. List goes on. Odometer on bike shows 50,800 mis but do not let that scare you away. The top end has had some work. This bike is very sound and dependable. I bought the bike 2 yrs ago and sold it to a friend of mine last year then bought it back because I missed it so much. Ive had absolutely no mechanical issues with this bike. Only reason Im lookin to get off it is because I just dont ride much anymore. I am open to trades on old rat rods, old cars, or trucks. 2013 Harley-Davidson World Ride Scheduled for June 23-24

Harley-Davidson riders around the world will head out on the road June 23-24 for the 2013 Harley-Davidson World Ride. The event is organized by the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), but non-members are invited to join in to celebrate Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary as well as H.O.G.’s 30th anniversary. “Harley-Davidson is celebrating two big anniversaries this year, and the World Ride is a great way for riders around the world to celebrate them with us,” says Ken Knuteson, H.O.G.

Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit

The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.

Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit

The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“  exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
