The 2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Fat Bob FXDF model is a Dark Custom cruiser with a big motorcycle feel. The Harley Fat Bob model features a powerful air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with six-speed cruise drive transmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and cargo. For the custom style you want, the Fat Bob model motorcycles beefy handlebar is truly reminiscent of an aggressive quarter mile monster. And with the wires routed through the steel, you get a clean, minimal look with nothing standing in your way of the open road. Add to that the wide stance and 16 inch front wheel, and you have a cool fat custom look with a powerful big twin engine. Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
