Harley-Davidson Softail description

I am the second owner having bought this bike from Eddie Trotta of Thundercycles in 1997. It is a time capsule from the 90s and has been in storage for 8 years. It as chromed out as was possible then and the mufflers are loud. The bike was lowered by Thundercycles and little else was done to it. Very easily rideable as the center of gravity is perfect. Runs fine. No breather kit or engine mods and was only locally driven with no hard riding. This was the best looking of the Fatboys at the time. Comes with two vintage seats and the passenger seat together with a set of T bags which fit. It also comes with two locks and a leather bag below the forks. Clean title. Bike runs but sold As Is.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
