I'm selling my 2001 Harley Davidson Fat Boy for $7,500 OBO. The power train has around 33k miles on it, while almost everything else is brand new. It has new handlebars, headlight, custom tail lights and rear turn signals, custom rear fender, side saddle bag, custom license plate mount, new exhaust wrap, new l.e.d. fuel gauge (needs calibration with an empty tank), new single seat, painted wheels, as well as a fresh paint job done last winter. The second annual ‘Ride to the Dunes’ charity ride for child abuse awareness kicks off Sunday, June 2 2013, with Grand Marshal Lorenzo Lamas leading the way. The ride will start at Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina Del Rey, California and end at Sycamore Cove State Beach in Malibu, where guests will be treated to lunch and a concert by Alchemy. Riders of all makes and models are welcome to join.

Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models

Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address  potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
