Nicks/Dings/Scratches:

·         Tail fender has negligible (barely noticeable) cloudy appearance in a small section under the detachable storage rack (bike was delivered to me that way and I never mentioned to the HD dealership)

·         Some of the LED pixels may not display on the marker lights, turn signals, or brake lights.  Not sure how many do not display, but some do not.

·         Left saddlebag has scuff marks on bottom corner (it came loose and was dragged for about a mile).  Otherwise saddlebag is in good appearance.

·         Rider foot pet (right side) has spacer to allow deployment without sitting on exhaust

·         Replaced gas gauge and sending unit – (only accurate when full – “HD feature”)

The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.

CARB Reveals 2014 Harley-Davidson Models, Including Some “Cool” Surprises

The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. The first and least surprising reveal is the disappearance of the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 engine.

Harley-Davidson will introduce a new 1200cc Sportster model released by the California Air Resources Board. The new 2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two is expected to be announced at the company’s winter dealer meeting next month, and it may not be alone. Newly released documents from the CARB reveal the Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two among the company’s 1200cc Sportster offerings alongside the Forty-Eight, 1200 Custom and Nightster.
