Harley-Davidson Softail description

2003 Harley Davidson Softail Deuce, black, has approximately 12500 miles on it, tires are good and has a new battery. Added a nice tan sundowner seat and still have the original black seat with backrest that came with it (sundowner seat is much more comfortable). It also has removable saddle bags.

EXTRAS: Have a HD 2003 red anniversary half helmet, size L that will go with it, as well as windshield with 2003 anniversary emblem, and an anniversary bike cover with leather bag. Will also throw in another red HD helmet size M.  Also have the original black seat with backrest that I'll include as well.

Runs great, no issues. I just had it inspected, but just noticed the one rear turn signal is out, so that bulb needs to be replaced. Front rim has some rust on it and a little flaking of chrome on the handlebar riser, but still really nice for a 2003.

If you are local to Stafford VA, I can show it after 5pm during the week and can make arrangements to show it on the weekends as well.

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
