If you love old Harleys, you'll love this updated 2005 throwback! Full fender, springer, beach bars, quick release rear seat and sissy bar, tombstone tail light, stainless steel laced wheels, and every bit black! .
Upgrades include S&S performance carb with correct high flow intake filter and housing, plastic cam gears replaced with steel ones, performance cams installed, large leather saddlebags bolted on, Quite enough to idle out of the drive way and no wake the neighbors, until you give it throttle and get moving down the road. The bike gets up and moves! Gets positive compliments everywhere it goes thanks to the old 50's styling and color. Every minute spent polishing chrome is another minute NOT riding down the road. Bike has never been laid down, dropped, put down, ridden off the road, etc. It's an excellent bike and still an almost daily driver. For those that will ask- I do not have the time to ride like I used to and won't for a couple of years (work, school, family, etc). I'm taking a break from riding for now and don't want to garage this awesome bike that's treated me right for so long. It's time to let someone else enjoy her. Tue, 19 Nov 2013A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.

The Greatest Escape is scheduled for Sunday, August 3, 2014 and will begin with a beautiful ride from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, 4141 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey, CA along the Pacific Coast Highway with stunning views of the ocean to the rustic and historic Paramount Ranch, Cornell Road, Agoura Hills, CA. Join Perry King for what will be a wonderful day ending with a concert and BBQ lunch on the ranch. The Greatest Escape, 2014 will include a BBQ lunch by J Wolf BBQ and a concert by The Walking Phoenixes, a Johnny Cash tribute band. The Greatest Escape, 2014, will benefit victims of Mesothelioma and the Pacific Meso Center, in Los Angeles, CA.
