Due to a tragic illness, we are selling this 2008 Cross Bones.This belongs to one of the east coasts most well known builders,Lew Jolly. Unfortunately,Lew is in a long recovery and riding is not an option at this time. This is truly a one of a kind opportunity. It is a 103" motor with Wiseco pistons, 577 Red Shift cams,ported heads,30 tooth front pulley,Thundermax with autotune ECU,Bassani Pro street pipes,ARP studs and nuts and tons of custom features. This was his personal ride and everything was done by him so you know it's right.I have seen this bike go around and pull away from big motor bikes owned by other techs and make it look easy. It's high compression but blueprinted so the combination starts with no compression releases. Hand painted lettering done by Lew himself.Been back and forth to New Hampshire twice and climbed Mt. Washington with no issues what so ever. Beat the bar hoppers with an everyday rider. This is his last street ready bike left in his stable. Triple digits in torque and horsepower. Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.
