Harley-Davidson Softail description

2011 H-D Firefighter Fat Boy

The legendary Fat Boy motorcycle defined the fat custom category and imitators everywhere tried to copy its magic. But this original continues to turn heads wherever it rolls with fat tires, fat bars, a fat fender and a big, powerful, black powder-coated, Twin Cam 96” engine. The Fat Boy model is the very definition of a heavyweight motorcycle, delivering a bold styling statement and a wide, comfortable riding stance.  Available only to active and retired firefighters this is limited edition model that features exclusive paint schemes and special badges. This particular example was factory optioned with chrome rims and has Fire Engine Red paint with double gold pinstripes. It currently has just 4,129 miles and is nicely optioned with a quick release windshield, a quick release backrest with luggage rack, flamed grips, flamed floor boards, flamed pegs and a billet shift link with flames as well as Willie G covers for both the primary and the inspection cover. It was recently serviced, has been upgraded with a stage 1 kit and sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Vance & Hines Straight Shot performance exhaust. We have priced this bike as though it has average miles and is bone stock so if you like what you see you better pick up the phone before it’s too late!

New Indian Commercial Pokes Fun At Harley-Davidson

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

The big news in the motorcycle world this year is the return of Indian motorcycles. Earlier this year, parent company Polaris unveiled the all-new Thunderstroke 111 engine as a sneak peak to the 2014 Chief which is set to make its official debut at Sturgis at the beginning of August. To prepare for this momentous occasion, Indian produced this commercial, which takes a nice, healthy jab at the iconic Motor Company.
