Harley-Davidson Sportster description

1978 Harley-Davidson 1000 XLH Anniversary Edition Sportster.

One of a limited edition of only 2323 manufactured, this is a 90% correct survivor...not many remain in this condition.

Runs strong and gets second looks for its classic styling and condition. Distinctive 1000cc Ironhead unique to 1972-1985 model years.

Sweet sound with baffled drag pipes turns heads. Newer top end, tires, battery, generator and ECM. One-of-a-kind custom tank art. Generator circuit needs tweaking. Needs rear brake shoes. Speedo has started acting up.

Numbers good, clean title. Chrome tail light cover in pics has gone missing...otherwise as pictured.

Good to VG condition overall. NADA VG valuation of $5700.

Local Pick-up only.
