Harley-Davidson Sportster description

For sale is a 1979 Harley Davidson Ironhead. Recently power coated. It has .030 over pistons. The carb needs to be rebuilt and she is ready to ride. It only idles right now. 

You can see from the pictures that it comes with lot of extras. A homemade lift I got from the previous owner, manual, and a bunch of spare parts (See picture)

Mileage is 58,100.

Harley-Davidson Confirms Project Livewire Will Appear In Avengers Movie

From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film. Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2011 Results

As expected, Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $183.6 million over the third quarter ended Sept. 25, 2011, a 106% increase from the $88.8 million reported in the same quarter of 2010. Harley-Davidson reported sales revenue of $1.23 billion, a 13.4% increase from the $1.09 billion reported in the same quarter of 2010.

2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options

Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
