UP FOR SALE WE HAVE A 1999 HARLEY DAVIDSON 883 SPORTSTER WITH 26263 MILES ON IT. THIS BIKE IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR IT'S AGE AND MILES. THIS MACHINE STARTS AND RUNS STRONG AND HAS FEATURES SUCH AS A CORBIN SEAT WITH A BACKREST SYSTEM, A CHROME OIL FILTER, AND CRASH BARS. NOW FOR THE BAD THERE IS A COUPLE LITTLE MARKS ON THE SEAT THAT YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES AND THERE IS TWO SPOTS ON THE TANK AND ONE SPOT ON THE REAR FENDER THAT YOU CAN ALSO SEE IN THE PICTURES. LIKE I SAID THIS IS A GOOD BIKE ESPECIALLY FOR THE YEAR AND MILES.

Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011

U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
