Up for sale is my pride and joy 2000 Sportster, circumstances dictate that I sell it. If you are looking for new or perfect, don't look here, if you want one of the best used bikes around ,here it is. 18,840 miles as of listing. The good, The Bad and The Ugly The Good--- Less than 2000 miles ago, New front and rear tires, new battery, new brakes on front and rear, with rotors, new major tune up, carb overhaul, new pipes. New stock seat. The custom paint is as good as it gets for age ( black lines in picture and overhead wire reflections , not in paint ) I will change oil and filter for you. Runs and rides like NEW !!!! The Bad--- After she sits for extended periods (months )It can be a chalenge to fire up ( I will tell you what I found to work best ) The Ugly--- The front wheel spokes do not shine any more, the speedometer bezel has a scratch and the nut is a bit rusty, a nut cap ( cover) on right case is missing. This requires a $500.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit at auction end. Repeat NON REFUNDABLE, so do not bid if you don't have all of the funds to purchase, no excuses. The balance will be due in a bank check within 10 days of auction ending ( more than fair ) This is a pick up only or if you make the shipping araingements I will send it off for you. I will store for reasonable amount of time. I have 100 % pos. feedback and do not sell junk. No reason to ever leave anything but 5 star pos. feedback. a little communication goes a long way. Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
