Harley-Davidson Sportster description

This bike pays homage to classic Brit cafe racers, but retains the soul and presence of Harley Davidson.
A stock 1200. The only mechanical mods are Vance & Hines 2into1 with carburetor idle and main jets up-sized. This bike starts, idles, runs, accelerates, handles and breaks perfectly.
A list of changes/mods to cafe racer...
Turn signals removed.
Repainted black with custom "The Sportster" sticker  (a-la "The Vincent") this can be easly pealed off.
Rear fender removed, replaced with fiberglass solo seat.
Rear set brake and gear shifter.
Head pipes ceramic coated by Jet-Hot performance coatings.
Clubman bars.
Stainless mini gauges.
Larger head lamp.
I'm happy to entertain any questions about this awesome bike.

A Seattle Seahawks-Themed Motorcycle. Why? Because Football. And Charity.

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

With the return of football season upon us (that’s American football for our international readers), we thought it best to feature, what else, but a motorcycle. In this particular case, it’s a Seattle Seahawks-themed custom based on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, the same year the Hawks made it to the Super Bowl. The man behind the custom, award-winning bike builder and Seattle resident, Keith Wong, was approached by Patrick ‘PT’ Town, the founder and executive director of Union Ride & Charity Rally - a charity event to raise money for several non-profits including Northwest Harvest, A.N.E.W., Helmets to Hardhats and the Awareness, Education and Prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Youth Football.

Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

Would you pay £160,000 for this?

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

Pretty it may be, but you wouldn't catch me spending £160,000 on this 1915 Harley-Davidson 11-F Twin that's coming up for sale at a Bonhams auction. It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.
