I have seen this bike many times and looked it over before listing. I took all the photos. The description below is worded by him. Very Good Condition. Bought this for former girlfriend who barely rode it. Third owner. Gently rode. Always garage kept. NEVER laid down, or tipped. Never had to be repaired. Needs nothing.... except a rider. Equipped with Quick Detach Saddle Bags with key lock. Mid foot controls currently installed. Sale includes Extra Forward controls as well. Brand new extra rear tire... see photo. Extra Harley Hand Grips. Passenger Floor Boards. Lower Kit installed on back. Short Back Rest (without padding) No issues. There are a few minimal paint blemishes. A small 1/4 inch ding on gas tank and one on the rear fender. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
Harley-Davidson Dealers Top 2012 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index
Mon, 07 May 2012Harley-Davidson dealerships topped the rankings for the 2012 edition of the Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, an industry benchmarking study examining how well dealerships treat customers, and turning shoppers into buyers. The Pied Piper PSI rated different manufacturers’ dealerships in a number of categories to produce an overall score. The study was conducted between July 2011 and April 2012 with 1,653 anonymous “mystery shoppers” gathering information at different dealerships across the U.S.
Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
