2006 Harley Davidson Sportster 883R. Great looking and carefully maintained motorcycle with very low miles (3914 miles). Runs great and sounds really good. Screaming Eagle II pipes. All accessories and maintainance has been done by Gowanda Harley. Has orange led lights on underside (they look cool at night), small pack attached behind the seat, blacked out engine, orange spark plug wires, Screaming Eagle tires, brand new battery (July 2016), Harley Davidson chrome rims which cost over $2000 new, front fairing (orange), and I also have the front spoiler that matches (not pictured). NYS Inspected July 2016. I bought this new in 2006, one owner. It`s ready to go, we just don`t ride much anymore, so we decided to sell them. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
