The best way to understand the effect of their changes is to drive a 2010 and then a 2011. They increased its fuel capacity from 3.3 to 4.5 gallons. The front and rear wheel sizes were reconfigured from 19" front/16" rear to 18" front/17" rear. This makes for superior dynamics in riding and a much better handling motorcycle. A beginner will find this 2011 XL883L much friendlier. A more advanced rider will enjoy its crisper responsiveness. This is a stock Sportster. Its color is Merlot Sunglo/Vivid Black. Mopar to Sponsor Canadian Superbike Championship
Mon, 12 Dec 2011Chrysler’s parts and accessories brand Mopar has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship. Mopar replaces Parts Canada which recently ended a 22-year partnership with CSBK over controversial comments made by the series organizer on an Internet forum. The seven-round CSBK series includes separate pro and amateur Superbike and Sportbike classes, as well as a Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and a new spec series for young riders featuring the Honda CBR250R.
2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Models Recalled for Pinched Brake Lines
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 66,421 motorcycles because of a problem with the front brake lines getting pinched. The recall affects all ABS-equipped 2014 touring and CVO touring models including the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Street Glide, Road King, CVO Limited and CVO Road King. Police and Shrine edition models are also affected, as are the Twin-Cooled version of the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Road King Classic which are produced for other markets.
