The best way to understand the effect of their changes is to drive a 2010 and then a 2011. They increased its fuel capacity from 3.3 to 4.5 gallons. The front and rear wheel sizes were reconfigured from 19 front/16 rear to 18 front/17 rear. This makes for superior dynamics in riding and a much better handling motorcycle. A beginner will find this 2011 XL883L much friendlier. A more advanced rider will enjoy its crisper responsiveness. This is a stock Sportster. Its color is Merlot Sunglo/Vivid Black. Riding a heavy, slow Harley-Davidson XR750, the American daredevil had serious reservations about the jump, admitting the take-off ramp was too short, therefore limiting the bike's speed. But even though the plucky American knew his chances of pulling off the stunt were slim, he was reluctant to disappoint the 80,000-strong Wembley crowd.
