Vance & Hines LCD dash needs to be programmed and set up on a dyno. It is in demo mode currently, so at least you know it works (I have programming instructions). All receipts and instruction manuals for add-ons included. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: LED headlight: This headlight was chosen because of its compact size and concealability to maintain the "race look." It works exceptionally well and has a wide beam. As it was designed as an off road light, it is on-off only. It functions on the highbeam setting or off on low-beam. Aluminum housing, securely mounted, and still adjustable for elevation. Original headlight connector soldered and heat shrink protected onto new light. Seat: The V&H seat pan comes with bottom & rear marine grade padding as used in other racing applications. It is surprisingly comfortable and I have taken two hour rides on it with no comfort concerns. Number plates: The rear left and right number plates are painted on and clear coated. The number "3" is not cleared, nor is the AMA racing decal, and they can both be removed in seconds. Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle
Fri, 25 Apr 2014An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
