Ordered in October 1984. Have original Dealership Bill of Sale and NC Title.

Kept in the original Condition.  Added many items, yet retained all items removed and they are in great condition.

Bike and removed items bring your purchase up to approximately 98% correct.

1985 Harley enhancements: Belt Drive, Air Suspension Anti-Dive Front Brake System.

Engine, 80 Cu.In. Evolution motor rebuilt approximately 5,000 miles ago.

5 Speed Transmission has Reverse Gear installed and it makes backing and parking a dream.

Sampson pipes sound nice. Paint and Chrome look great.  Bike has never been laid down or in any accident.

Mileage is accurate; however, I do ride it often.  I have put about 1,000 miles on it within last four months.

8-26-2013 I rode 330 Miles-Great Ride! (Avg. MPG: 51.1)

Always garaged and maintained in the true Harley fashion.

Bike was appraised by local Harley Davidson Dealer for $12,500.00

Reserve is fair and reasonable and it is no where close to the appraisal.

Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder.

Bike will be released when payment transaction is complete (must clear bank).

I can store motorcycle for 30 days at no charge when payment transaction is complete.

Bike has been serviced and is ready to make a cross country trip, are you ready?

Marisa Miller Takes Harley-Davidson Rider’s Edge Training [Video]

Tue, 26 Jul 2011

If there’s one thing I like more than motorcycles, it’s hot supermodels, such as Victoria’s Secret Angel, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covergirl and Harley-Davidson spokesmodel Marisa Miller. Miller has appeared in a number of promotional spots for The Motor Company in recent years, most notably for the Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle and to support Harley-Davidson’s U.S. Military Appreciation programs (one of Miller’s “American Bombshell” post cards is currently my computer’s desktop wallpaper).

Antiques Roadshow Visits Sturgis Motorcycle Museum

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

While on location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum to film a segment on motorcycle toys. In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
