Harley-Davidson Touring description

This 1993 FLHTC is on its second set of tires, LPCycles put the 1st set(Harley Davidson Dunlop D402's) on 6 years ago, they still look good. This customer started the bike every once in a while to keep everything lubed but he never rode the bike. This is the newest looking 93 I believe I have ever seen. We put a new battery, alternator, regulator and changed the oil with Amsoil a few months ago. Amsoil is all this bike has had in it since it was newly broken in.

Air ride front and rear works fine and rides even better. This bike has never been hot rodded and has had only one thing changed, Samson Silver Bullet mufflers, they sound perfect. I would jump on this bike and go anywhere in the USA on it, its a sweet bike. This bike has never been wrecked or laid down.

Feel free to call or email with any questions. 254-729-3104
Thomas

LPCycles will ship this bike anywhere on the planet, You the buyer will be responsible for all crating and freight charges. The bike can also be picked up at our store monday thru saturday.

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Team Unveils Restyled V-Rod Drag Bikes

Fri, 09 Mar 2012

The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.

2010 Sportster Forty-Eight [video]

Mon, 25 Jan 2010

Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player. The 2010 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight retails for $10,499 for the black version, $10,789 for the silver or orange. Click here for more info.

New Harley-Davidson Book Ties Together The Company’s Past

Thu, 08 May 2014

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.
