Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
Gymnast on a Harley….Wow.
Mon, 23 Mar 2009What happens when you take away a smokin’ hot gymnast’s balance beam and replace it with a Harley-Davidson Fat Bob? It’s only 30 seconds but who’s to stop you from playing it over and over again? Now what would be even more amazing is if there was a dude riding that bike on the highway while she did that. What would be a million times more amazing would be if that dude was me.
