1995 Harley Davidson,  FLHTCU  (Carb) Shriner's Editon,  with in excellent condtion, purchased new,  garage kept. low low miles. for a 95'  touring bike.  Custom paint, (Shriner's White), Trailer tow hitch,, new custom seat,  full service within last year., but has not been used since.  I am selling as no longer able to use for health reasons,  It has been started and run on a regular schedule over the last 9 months.
This has been my pride and joy for years, very carefully maintained,  throughout its use, but Dr. now has said : "No more riding", so time for it to go.

Warren Buffett Loans $300 Million to Harley-Davidson

Don’t think that Mr. Buffett is lending the American icon the money out of the goodness of his heart, he is receiving a whopping 15 percent on his money, at those rates I can lend Harley some money! CNBC.com Warren Buffett poses on a motorcycle at the Burlington Hathaway annual meeting in May, 2008.  Berkshire’s Geico subsidiary was promoting its motorcycle insurance.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.

US Highland Making a Comeback

US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
