This is a 100th anniversary model, it has a factory custom red ghost flame paint job. Original 88 cu in motor has a big bore kit taking it to 96 cu in. A "power commander" computer is installed and programmed to match the engine options. BUB/Rinehart true dual exhaust system. HD Sundowner seat with basketweave to match the bags and the trunk. Trunk is quick detachable. There is a detachable luggage rack w/passenger backrest and a removable/fully adjustable riders backrest. Pull back handlebars for added riding comfort. Lots of extra chrome and "Live to Ride, Ride to Live" items. Some original parts are available with the purchase of the bike.(exhaust, seat, handle bar) This bike also includes the original 100th Anniversary painted sheet metal and body parts in "Gunmetal Pearl". Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
