Up for bid is a 2006 FLHRCI ROAD KING CLASSIC. Fuel Injected. It has a new motor with about 7000 miles on it. While the bike was still under Warrantee, some gaskets were leaking so Harley swapped out the motor. And since it was a factory change the New Motor was Stamped with Matching Numbers. It was replaced Antelope Valley HD and I have paper work on the swap. The bike itself has 36800 miles on it. It runs great and looks great too. New seat and grips. Has a quick disconnect windshield. Also comes with an after market VIP Trunk with passenger back rest and a highway bar not pictured. Don’t miss out on a great deal. Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
