Harley-Davidson Touring description

2006 Road King , Owning this motorcycle for four years the bike has been serviced every 2000 miles using all genuine Harley Davidson parts and oils. Motorcycle is serviced and ready to ride. All work done by me, 20 year factory trained Harley Davidson tech. This bike has been updated with the latest ECM download that Harley makes, a nice freebie that the factory provides for stock bikes. The bike has extra chrome and luggage rack. Chrome switch housings and switch caps, Nostalgic grips, super comfort. Hard saddlebags that were painted to match bike. Comes with stock leather bags as well that are in great condition. This bike has been lowered front and rear using HD lower shocks, not a shock re- location kit. This provides a better ride. The seat was done, very nice by James Dean of Ft. Lauderdale , lowering and moving the seating position closer to the Heritage style chrome handlebars. Seat is covered in two materials, with a red piping to go with the paint. I can provide a stock non lowered seat if needed, your choice of seat. Windshield is lower then stock, very clear and works great. Has nice windshield bag.  This model comes with electric cruise that works well, a nice feature. Tires have plenty of life remaining. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. $200.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours , motorcycle stays with me until final payment is clear. Final payment due three days from auction end. This motorcycle is sold as is.  Miles may increase a little on odometer. call with any questions,  954-494-0989 thanks, Bob

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
