Last production year for Black Cherry. Stage 1 intake kit, new Reinhart slip-ons, Mustang touring seat with  detachable backrest. bag lid covers. Small dent in front fender and headlight bezel from another bike being knocked over on the front of it. Very strong running bike maintenance to the Harley schedule, synthetic oil from day 1. Hate to sell because she is such a sweet ride but bad knees will not let me ride any longer. Blue Book value is over $8500. Priced to sell.

2014 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic Recalled

Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike  because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.

While at the time, most of the attention was on President Barack Obama, motorcycle enthusiasts would have surely noticed the one-of-a-kind 2009 Harley-Davidson Police concept Tri-Glide Ultra Classic which led the inauguration parade to the White House on January 20th. Lieutenant Scott Fear, Commander of the U.S. Park Police Motor Unit, led a dozen side car-equipped Electra Glides in a formation riding the heavily modified Trike, which was sourced by Harley-Davidson of Frederick.
