This is just one of those bikes you get excited to be around. It has only 2404 original miles and runs and drives like new. We just gave her an Oil/filter (synthetic) change so the next owner has a fresh start. The Paint appears to be in great shape as well as the Chrome. The only thing negative is there is minor pitting in the aluminum below the Chrome on the front forks and in the wheels themselves. I am pointing this out because it is hard to see in the pictures. I looked at some closeups on comparable models and see that this may simply be normal. I was going to try some "shark skin polish" on this as we are a boat dealer and this works well when we detail aluminum on the boats. Any Suggestions? Everything on the bike seems to work like it should. Tires are great and seats are excellent. Hope we find a great home for this one. I have financing available and can ship world wide! Eric Bostrom to Race TTXGP for Brammo at Laguna Seca
Thu, 26 Jul 2012Eric Bostrom has signed on to ride the Brammo Empulse RR in the electric motorcycle race at Laguna Seca July 28-29. The race is the final stop on the TTXGP‘s North American series and a joint event with the FIM’s ePower series. The AMA racing veteran will join Steve Atlas to represent Team Icon Brammo at Laguna Seca.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
Rare Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Memorabilia Up for Auction
Tue, 24 Jun 2014More than 500 rare Harley-Davidson motorcycles and collector’s items will be hitting the auction block on June 28. The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.
