There are a couple of minor adjustments that need to be addressed that I may or may not get around to addressing prior to the sale of this bike. Those adjustments are: 1. Synchronizing the Radiantz rear run/ turn/ brake LED's to truly perform in three function mode. The manufacturer states the two function LED's will perform as three function LED's with a supplied element. I'm sure this is possible but I have not had the time to truly address the issue. 2. Check the seals and or air line to the Dirty Air front air ride suspension system. This is an awesome air ride system and there is currently a very slow leak as indicated by the front air pressure gauge over a twelve hour period. Mon, 15 Feb 2010IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
