2012 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Limited. Black with silver pinstriping. One owner, purchased new in January 2012 from Spyke's Clinton County Harley-Davidson in Frankfort, IN. Title in hand. Currently showing 7400+ miles (which will increase, as I'm still riding it.) on a 103 C.I. (1690 cc) engine with 6 speed transmission. Approximately 30 mpg in town and 43 mpg highway. 5000-mile service is complete, service records available. Stage 1 engine modifications, with Vance & Hines 4" slash cut pipes. Race tuner specific to this bike included with purchase. AM/FM/CD/CB/WX radio, cruise control, heated hand grips, luggage rack on trunk. Several other accessories installed including triple windshield pouch, magnetic glove box doors, tank bra, LED lights in engine compartment, trunk organizer, Kruzer Kaddy cup holder, driver's backrest, highway pegs, and Battery Tender. Nylon trunk and saddle bag luggage included. Trailer hitch with 1 7/8" ball is installed, but the bike is not wired for trailer lights. Has two small tears in leather surfaces, one on passenger backrest (wife's belt), and one on right side of seat (my boot). Local pick-up, or will deliver within 50 miles of Lafayette, IN. after payment is received.

Harley-Davidson Donated $4.5 Million to Various Causes in 2012

Harley-Davidson donated more than $4.5 million to support various charitable groups in 2012. The donations, which include both grants and merchandise, went to several organizations, including those around Harley-Davidson‘s bases in Milwaukee, Wis., York, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., but also to groups across the nation. The Milwaukee chapter of Habitat for Humanity received a $200,000 grant for its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, helping fund housing projects in the Washington Park community.

Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
