This is a one of a kind custom built Road Glide Custom that is just fantastic in everyway. Mankato Harley-Davidson built this bike this past winter for one of our customers and there is no expense spared! The bike has 419 miles and gets plenty of attention where ever it goes! This bike has been built by a certified Harley-Davidson mechanic and was done correctly with no corners cut. The bike has 26"Prowler front wheel made by RC components with matching rear , Legends Air Ride Suspension, Harley-Davidson Stg 4 motor with Up Yours exhaust (Jet Hot Ceramic Coated), Sumax Powder Coating, Paul Yaffee Tank, Bags, Fenders, Floor Boards and much much more. Next year’s Sturgis Buffalo Chip will once again feature the Student Build Challenge. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.

Harley-Davidson reported a net profit of $271.7 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013, up from the profit of $247.3 million reported in the same period in 2012. For the first half of 2013, Harley-Davidson has recorded $495.9 million in profit, compared to $419.3 million reported in the opening six months last year. “Harley-Davidson again drove strong financial performance in the second quarter, reflecting the many improvements in operations we have made throughout the Company over the past few years as well as our brand strength globally,” says Keith Wandell, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc.

Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350

The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
