Aerosmith and Toby Keith to Join Kid Rock as Headliners of Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebrations

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith and country artist Toby Keith were introduced as headline performers along with the previously announced Kid Rock for Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebration. Each headline concert will be held at the Marcus Amphitheater at the south side of Henry Maier Festival Park (A.K.A. the Summerfest Grounds) in Harley-Davidson‘s hometown Milwaukee.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
