Harley-Davidson Touring description

You are bidding on a 2008 Road Glide Custom with a brand new 120R Harley Davidson Race Motor.  The new 120R is equiped with the big manifold and big injectors and is putting out over 137hp.  A new Aims clutch was installed at the same time and handles the power perfectly.  The bike only has 2300 total miles and might have 500 miles on the motor since Owens Harley Davidson did the complete motor swap.  The bike has been cut and raked by the pro's in Arizona, has 5 degree triple trees and rides absolutely perfect with the 26".  Custom Flat Black paint with old school Hot Rod pinstriping, all motor parts have been powdercoated black with chrome black fasteners and all the wheels and pulleys have been powdercoated lipstick red.  Looking at the pictures I can tell you the bike looks better in person for some reason.  Stretched Sinister rear fender with frenched in tail/brake lights and led lit license plate frenched in.  Sinister stretched saddlebags, Sinister stretched fuel tank, Sinister stretched dash, Sinister Seat, Sinister no show windshield along with some Sinister mini apes for that perfect fit and ride.  26" Sinister powdercoated red along with the 13" powdercoated front rotor.  Rear 18" Sinister powdercoated red to match also.  Black powdercoated front forks with Yaffe Cowbells and a Yaffe Yaxle up front.  All wiring has been done internally and has PM grips, Ness mirrors.  Yaffe Highway bar eliminator and Legend Air Suspension out back.  With the new 120R motor comes a HD Screamin Eagle breather, Klockwerks Double Back Headers and some bad ass CFR Slip On's and a Thundermax Auto Tune system.  The Stereo is upgraded to and Alpine system with Hertz Speakers and Amplifier.  Very nice bike - built by the pro's and meticulously maintained.  I have black powdercoated heatshield if you don't want the hotrod exhaust look.  Must move this bike asap.  Call for more info 509-947-9708.

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.
