Harley-Davidson VRSC description

2005 Harley-Davidson VRSCSE - V-Rod Screamin Eagle, Very Rare Screamin Eagle Color, Low Miles With All The Goodies!Get a load of this metal masterpiece, then stick your eyeballs back in their sockets. This is what happens when H-D's Styling and Custom Vehicle Operations teams get a hold of a machine like the V-Rod. Enhancing the power of the Revolution engine feels like an embarrassment of riches. But you'll never see this one blush. A 1250cc with 10% more torque and horsepower, and you definitely feel the difference in the seat of your pants. All that power meets the road via a set of custom wheels. Reporting all the fun back to you is a new speedo/tach arrangement perched on a taller, wider handlebar. The aluminum air box features an LED fuel display, clock and indicator lights. Production is limited. And the only thing moving faster than a V-Rod at your dealership is one on the street.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.
