Powder coated D&D Cycles rigid frame, 6 over wide glide, shaved legs, 4 speed, Shovelhead top end, polished rockers and cam cover, Sifton 412 cam, Balanced bottom end, Rivera Pro clutch, Cycle Electrics generator, O ring chain, Primo primary belt, aluminum spool, 21 inch Avon Speedmaster, star hub, 16 inch Goodyear Speedgrip, Everything mechanical including motor, trans, primary, clutch, hubs, carb, gen, battery, brakes are new or rebuilt. Runs real strong and starts easy. It has about 1800 miles on it. Ready to ride, no issues. Titled as a 1950 Harley Davidson with Harley numbers and matching cases. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

Thu, 10 Jun 2010Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
