Hodaka ACE-100 / 125 WOMBAT description

Designed and built by Hodaka specialist Lee Fabry for Ahrma 100cc class and for show. I started with the larger 125 frame then sectioned, stretched and lowered the cradle 3". Fuel tank and seat were narrowed 2" each. It has '03 wombat triple clamps, 1974 YZ250 34mm forks with 7" travel. Has 16.5" Progressive Suspension shocks with 6" travel or 4" with included travel limiters for Ahrma use. Frame and rims are powder coated in "Antifreeze Green" Tank and fenders paint matched in Sem brand "Lemon-Lime Pearl" Engine (vin E25279) Is a 100cc nos crate motor with rare "Jensen-Tibi" radial head and cylinder kit, ported and case-matched with 24mm Mikuni carb. Tuned exhaust with integral spark arrestor. K&N air filter. Green acrylite custom side panels. Bike has only two races total time on it after break-in and jetting period. Well sorted out and ready to race or show. Engine is 100cc piston port and very fast and reliable. This bike is bigger than stock to suit more riders as Hodakas are quite small.

Seat height is 36", wheelbase is 56", and weight is 190-lbs. Can be ridden at much higher speeds as modified. Very stable and excellent handling. Won Best of Show, Best Custom-MX, and 1st place in scrambles race at Hodaka Days, Athena, Or. Bill of sale only, no pink. I will assist in shipping but won't crate it. I use Allied/Federal with good results. All shipping costs responsibility of buyer. This is a 40 year old dirt bike with no warranty expressed or implied.

A Different Bike Magazine

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
