Honda 1300 SERIES BTS description

Honda ST1300 (aka PanAmerican) is a fabulous touring motorcycle. V-4, shaft drive, VERY smooth.
I just returned from a 3500 mile trip, this bike was flawless, but at my age, I am looking for a smaller bike.
2008 was the last year Honda made significant improvements to the ST1300 model, including the brakes, cooling system, and ECM.
Over $3500 in accessories on this bike, plus new tires, complete brake overhaul (including new secondary master cylinder), wheel bearings, fork seals and bushings, and all hydraulic fluids flushed.
Oil, filter and rear drive just changed at 49,000. Mileage will change, as I still ride it. This is NOT a beginner's bike. Test rides only with cash in my hand.

Accessories:
Two Brothers titanium exhaust, Sargent seat with Utopia backrest, Givi windshield and Monokey top case, LED headlights,Helibar Risers w/ ball mount, Kaoko Throttle Lock, Givy Windshield, PSR Highway Pegs, Pazzo CNC Shorty brake & clutch levers (org. included),Rear Crash bars, Custom Air Wings, 90 degree Chrome valve stems

The other day, Honda patented the name and layout of the NT1100 motorcycle

The Africa Twin parallel twin will be installed in another chassis - an asphalt tourist one. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no official pictures, only the fantasies of fans and third-party designers. Only one thing is clear - the engine will be 1100cc, and just like the CRF1100 Africa Twin touring enduro and CMX1100 Rebel chopper, the engine will be offered with both a conventional motorcycle foot-shift gearbox and a DCT robot.

Joey Dunlop on a V4 Honda at the '83 TT

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.

Traction control? Yawn...

My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
