1966 Honda CA77 305 Dream 8396 Original Miles - Strong runner in its original paint!
This bike was put back on the road in the spring of 2013. I've only put 254 miles on it since then and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Carb and petcock cleaned and rebuilt with new OEM Honda parts. Gas tank nice inside, only cleaned and flushed. New fuel lines. New battery in 2015, new plugs, fresh engine oil just today, new fork oil, and other OEM Honda odds and ends. Period correct tires from Coker have 254 miles on them. All lights and electrics work as they should. All other maintenance items like valve clearances, ignition timing, cam chain tension, etc. are DONE. The original red lacquer paint is in nice shape but does look a little better in the pictures than it does in person. Chrome is good for 50-year-old Honda chrome. No significant rust. Mufflers are solid with OEM baffles. This Dream is ready to ride and enjoy. Note pictures 23 and 24 show the bike with a solo seat that I will include with the sale. Clear Ohio title in my name. Honda’s V-4 History
Tue, 06 Oct 2009As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!
Stoner Tests Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Retired two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner returned to the track this week to test Honda‘s RC213V racer as well as the company’s new RCV1000R production racer at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. This was Stoner’s first test on the production racer after rain cut short a previous test session in August. The weather again threatened to derail Honda’s testing plans, wiping out the first day of the two-day test but Stoner was able to finally able to put in some laps on the production racer and came away impressed.
Toni Elias to Substitute for Injured Hector Barbera at Laguna Seca
Mon, 23 Jul 2012Former Moto2 World Champion Toni Elias is back in the premiere MotoGP class, albeit on a temporary basis. The Pramac Racing satellite Ducati team has signed Elias to race at the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca in place of Hector Barbera who is sidelined with a broken leg.
