Honda CB description

I bought this bike several years ago with hopes of restoring it. When I got it, it was only running on one cylinder. I rebuilt both carbs, and had it running great. I wouyld cruise around our neighborhood, since I didn't have my license yet. To get that, I drove about 8 miles toward the testing place, and it starting missing about a mile away. I got my license and limped home. I know this thing has a carb issue, I am just tired of screwing with it. Everything electrical works on the bike, as do the brakes. The odometer shows 3439 miles, and the speedo and tach both work. The gas tank looks clean, but I did have to cut the tips off of the crossover feeds due to corrosion.

I have a youtube video of starting the bike using carb spray, but it won't let me post it.

The carbs have new floats.

The tools are included with the original plastic pouch.

The pipes are some sort of aftermarket brand and are loud. I have a clean title, pick up only.

Used: MOTOTENT by Lone Rider

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

Since wild camping in the UK is generally regarded as trespassing, I opted for a crowded campsite in the heart of Sussex, open fires allowed, to see if the MOTOTENT is worth the £399 price tag. On the face of it the MOTOTENT is essentially a two man dome tent with a porch, Well I can pick up one of those up from Argos for £100 or less. Also I was struggling to understand why you would buy a tent that you can sleep in and store your bike in overnight, certainly in the UK most places you are likely to stay are fairly secure campsites.

Bradl prepares for Laguna's Corkscrew

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

A rookie to Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl shows one way to prepare for the Corkscrew; by riding his LCR Honda RC213V down the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco. The reigning Moto2 champion may have never raced at the Californian track but earlier this year he used a break between races to learn the circuit on a Honda CBR1000RR, having only had a virtual experience of Laguna before this year. At the time the young German said: "It is downhill, and there are lots of blind corners.
