Honda CB description

I’m selling my ’71 CB350. I have enjoyed her for a little over a year and a half but it is time to part ways as I am buying a Triumph Thruxton R. Everything on the bike functions perfectly – all lights, electric start, etc. The transmission shifts very smoothly and the bike runs like a champ. The only change I have made to the bike is the installation of two Mikuni VM30 racing carbs (new Uni filters and brand new carb boots) which really bring the bike to life. The bike pulls hard all the way through the rev range but could potentially use some smaller jets (I have the necessary jets but I didn’t bother to install them as I have enjoyed riding the bike). The previous owner had the engine rebuilt 3 years ago. I had the oil changed, timing set, carbs synced,  and a new battery installed 3 months ago. The bike has always been stored in a garage under my ownership. There is a scratch on the right side of the tank that has been there the duration of my ownership (I have never dropped the bike). I have the original mufflers, center stand, and various other parts.

Clean NJ title in hand - Test ride with cash in hand only.

2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb To Use Airfence, Thanks To Honda Sponsorship

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

After a successful 2013 campaign in the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where Honda’s own Jeff Tigert won the Pikes Peak 450 class and set a new record, Honda is stepping up its involvement for 2014, as both a sponsor and race participant, with plans to field products in seven distinct race classes. In addition, Honda will be working with the AMA and the Pikes Peak sanctioning body on improvements which will provide new levels of safety to the Motorcycle / ATV / UTV / Sidecar competitors. Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
