Honda CB description

this is a used bike with no warrantees or returns. the bike is in fair condition runs with clear title. I had to get it inspected by the DMV and had to apply for title.  please know that this bike was put together with all parts that came with on a trade. I did my best and now with a new battery, oil change new plugs and carb cleanning. this thing fired right up and it revs up nice. this is a running project! it will need to be finished. I didnt use lock tight on any of the bolts, in fact I would recomment to go through it and tighten all the bolts all around. I wanted to see if this thing ran before i put a lot of time in to it. it does have a 2 into 1 exaust and really nice adjustable clip-ons not sure of brand on pipes but clip-ons are allumum. It has the 6 speed trans wich it is a little more desirable. has electric and kick start. two keys not original looks like has an later ignition switch but works fine. tank has a small dent by the honda emblem and the inside will need a little attention. the rubber mounting hardware is missing so the tank will need to be perm mounted. it does stay in place but i didnt want to drill through the frame to mount. I put some in line filters and it seems to be doing fine. this description is to the best of my knowledge and this will be an "as is" sale with no return and or warranty. Bike does run and it does have clear title notarized and ready to go. Thanks for the interest I can try to answer all the questions the best of my knowledge. this will be a great looking vintage cafe racer. thanks Please note I have the bike listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
