Honda CB description

For sale is a 1978 Honda CB400A Hawk Hondamatic.  Bike has under 5000 miles on it and was recently professionally serviced and given a "good-to-go."  Bike has a clear New York title.  Mainly selling due to not riding it enough and needing money (lost one job and have second baby on the way).

The good:  Motor is great. No leaks or issues known. Shifts into the two gears well and takes off like a Hondamatic should.  All original paint and Honda accessories. Comes with windshield, rear rack, highway bars, etc.   Chrome looks good.

The bad:  Two small scratches on right side of tank.  Right side muffler has a hole and previous owner taped it with heat tape.  Can still get replacement mufflers.  Windshield has small amount of spiderwebbing around mount locations.

Pictures didn't come out as wanted, but if you want more pictures, email me and I will take whatever angles of the bike you need.  Pictures don't do it justice though.  It is in great condition.

Great bike with a good running motor and a few accessories to make it sweeter. Buy it to ride it.

Any and all questions must be asked before end of auction.  Item is being sold with best of sellers knowledge.  No refunds or returns on items. Item may be shipped, however, buyer will pay all shipping costs, plus handling fee for transport of motorcycle to shipping facility.

Honda Canada to Launch CBR250R Racing Series

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

Honda Canada will introduce a new national racing series featuring the CBR250R for 2012. The news is no surprise as Honda has been running a CBR125R Challenge racing series as a support class for the Canadian Superbike Championship since 2008. With the CBR250R on the market for nearly a year (and reportedly doing quite well at that), a racing series featuring the quarter-liter sportbike was almost inevitable.
