Honda CB description

VERY VERY RELUCTANT SALE OF MY BABY! I HAD BOUGHT THIS FROM ACROSS THE OTHER SIDE OF COUNTRY AND HAVE HAD IT A YEAR. A CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCES FORCES THIS SALE. I MOVED AND HAVE NO PLACE TO STORE IT AND IT DESERVES TO BE KEPT WELL. IT HAS JUST OVER 13,000 ORIGINAL MILES. I COMPLETELY REBUILT CARBS AND CLEANED ALL OF THEM. IT STARTS RIGHT AWAY, EXCEPT NEEDS A LITTLE TLC WHEN COLD AS ALL 4 CYLINDER ENGINES DO.:-). I HAVE WORKED ON THE CARBS, FULL CLEAN AND REBUILD. BRAKES AND CABLES. SOME COSMETIC CLEANING WOULD BRING IT TO PRISTINE. TIRES HAVE GOOD TREAD BUT MIGHT BE REPLACED AS THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE BIKE A LONG TIME. IT IS A GREAT BIKE ESPECIALLY FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND A CLASSIC. IT RUNS SMOOTH AND ENGINE SOUNDS AS IT SHOULD. GRUNTY BUT SMOOTH. I HATE TO PART WITH IT BUT MUST...THIS WOULD MAKE A FANTASTIC CAFE, OR KEEP IT ORIGINAL. IT DESERVES TO BE LOVED AND CARED FOR AS I HAVE LOVED AND CARED FOR IT. IT IS ONLY GOING BECAUSE I HAD TO MOVE AND I DONT HAVE A COVERED GARAGE FOR IT. USHIP OFFERS REALLY GOOD DEALS THROUGH EBAY FOR PRIVATE HAULERS AND SHIPPERS. YOU CAN GET A REALLY GOOD RATE TO MOVE IT FOR YOU IF YOU SHOP AROUND A LITTLE. I USED THEM AND WAS VERY SATISFIED. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS. I AM A LONG TIME VERIFIED EBAY SELLER. Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

Day 4 Dakar 2014: Juan Pedrero Wins Stage Aboard Sherco

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.

Honda EV-neo Electric Scooter to Begin European Trial

Wed, 15 Jun 2011

Honda announced it will begin a trial program for its EV-neo electric scooter in Barcelona, Spain. Already available in Japan under a lease sale program, the Honda EV-neo is designed to be a commercial delivery vehicle, with performance said to be on par with an under 50cc scooter. The electric scooter will make its European debut as Honda is providing Barcelona City Council with 18 EV-neo scooters at the beginning of July for a one-year trial.
