1986 Honda Cb 700SC, 1986 Honda Nighthawk CB700SC. Rare bike in rare one-year only color combo. Fantastic condition, superbly maintained. Fresh tires and brakes, runs beautifully. Progressive fork spring upgrade. If you're looking at this bike then you already know the near legendary status of this bike. All plastic is in mint condition. Only minor flaws: one minor ding in tank, minor scrape about 1 at the very end of lower right muffler, tip of tach needle broke off, custom seat has some distortion on rear pillion. No rust or other deterioration. All rubber/plastic replaced with brand new old stock parts. Custom Corbin seat, stock seat also included which is in 9 out of 10 condition. Video: Honda Crossrunner v mountain pass
Fri, 01 Apr 2011This road (the one in the video) was a previously unseen, super-steep mountain pass which needed first gear for the hairpins and second between them with an occasional grab at third on the quicker sections. It was the sort of road that pumps up your forearms and makes you crane your neck to see what's coming next (mainly cyclists). The surface was rubbish.
