BRAND New 2015 Honda CB300F

The 2015 Honda CB300F--you get all the great CBR300R features, but in a bike that offers the pure, clean look some riders prefer—and once you see a CB300F, you may prefer it yourself. An added plus: The CB300F is a little bit lighter, and you sit up a little straighter. You’re a little more involved in your riding world. It’s an especially good choice for the urban rider. The two share the same great engine—bigger and more powerful than the CBR250R, it offers a wider powerband and more power, great traits for a bike in this category. Like the CBR300R, thanks to it’s single-cylinder engine design, the CB300F is narrow, light, and fun. And the fuel-injected engine also offers excellent fuel economy. But maybe the best news of all is the price. This is one bike you’ve got to check out.

Hot Lap Around Spa-Francorchamps With Xavier Simeon

Fri, 20 Jan 2012

If you’re a fan of motorsport on both two and four wheels like me, then you should be familiar with the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.

Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results

Tue, 02 Aug 2011

Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year.  The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.
