Honda CBR description

up for auction is a adult owned, garage kept, clean mint condition. the bike only has 14,000 miles which means the bike has only
averaged about 1000  miles a year. it was just recently serviced at honda in metuchen (I have receipt and service order) for oil change with honda full synthetic oil, new Michelin pilot front tire,(rear tire was replaced last year and has about 1300 miles on it) clean lube and adjust the chain, smoke flush mount turn signals and tail light with integrated turn signals. new front and rear brake pads. frame sliders  Also a brand new Scott's steering dampener was purchased   and installed about 2 months ago, smoked windscreen. all fluids dropped and replaced with new fluids, new air filter, wheels pinstriped red, and a hindle slip on exhaust. it runs strong and does not leak a drop of oil or anything. always garage kept and never abused. clear title and vin report on hand(vin report is posted in pictures I also have pdf available). between the service and steering dampener and all the new parts the total invested was over $2,000. there is a scratch in the rear tail sticker (see pictures) and overall condition of the bike is excellent. everything functions as it should electrically and mechanically.

Mick Doohan NSR500 art sculpture

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

How do you best immortalise the great Mick Doohan and the big bang Honda NSR500 with which he dominated Grand Prix racing in the 90s? An Australian artist has answered this by creating an art installation that sees a hand-created replica of the bike exploded and suspended from the ceiling. The Doohan piece is appropriately titled 'The Big Bang' and as artist Eamon O'Tootle describes, "It is a complex sculpture comprising thousands of parts joining to make up a whole and symbolic tribute to the true inherent nature of art and sport – the creativity of design, where the mechanical is modified to suit the needs of man." Eamon added: "The way the Doohan piece came about was that one of the bikes Mick rode had an engine configuration called the Big Bang.

Been blasting all around the UK on my Crosstourer DCT this summer. The bike is mega in a Range Rovery-posh and grunty kind of a way. But it’s that engine and gearbox that transcend the normal into new realms of brilliance. I’ve been doing my best not to bore people too much about DCT but it’s hard.

2014 Honda NC750S, NC750X May be Heading to Canada

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

We were disappointed when American Honda announced it would offer the NC700X in 2014 the very same day its parent company revealed the NC model line was getting upgraded to 750 in other markets. It was bad enough Americans only got the adventure-styled X version and not the NC700S naked standard or Integra scooter in Europe, but for 2014, American Honda will continue offering the 670cc model instead of the new 745cc version. Canada may be another story however, as Honda Canada’s website has pages set up for both the NC750X and NC750S.
